Have to admit though that the blue category was a total guess.

Hi all, I guess I'm going to reluctantly take a break from Wordle, Connections and Flashback to avoid crossing a picket line for the duration of the NYT Tech Guild strike. I avoided the NYT site on Election Day and the day after, which was not easy. This is even harder! (I didn't think about the strike when I played earlier this week.)

If anybody else feels like it, Clarissa posted a link on Facebook (below) to a site the Tech Guild made with similar games. I tried the Connections one and it was a little too easy but worked the same way. The Wordle one was pretty much the same difficulty, once you realized that lime green squares actually meant yellow squares.

I hope they'll switch them up every day but I don't know if that's their plan. The Connections one I would think would be tricky to compose. The Wordle one is relatively easy -- I suppose you just need a 5-letter word and the technology.

I didn't know there was a strike going on. What is it about?

So who are making the (original) games now? Scabs?

I usually support strikes, but I want to know what it's about.
