You're right about catfish not bein very popular here. Salmon is only one a the many special fish available here (but not bein a fish person, I'm not up on what the main catches & sellers are in these here parts.)

I'll make tuna sandwiches from time to time and when I get fish & chips, I prefer halibut. I've had salmon steaks and was not impressed (just tasted like fish ta me  )

Glad yer enjoyin my "Great White North" thread - it was intended as a respite from the winter blahs, but Jess encouraged me to post the progress of my blooming garden - she'd seen some photos of previous years, and I kept on sayin that lost had improved since then, so ... that's how come me got to do that current part a the thread. The puzzle part just got started this week.

Jess had to go offline (says there are thunderstorms going through her parts) so get your guesses in before she gets back. (don't really expect she'll guess those flowers anyways - ha!  )

They're saying it'll be a little hotter than previously predicted, but still manageable, I guess. Stayin home to work on the report cards today - already put in one more hour (am planin 3 more sessions today.)
