Ok, why does this happen?

I came to the basement to get on the computer.....Blaze is on the computer chair, asleep.

I didn't have the heart to move him, so I gently pushed the chair to the side, and I'm sitting on a hard wood chair, while the cat is resting on the cushioned computer chair.

::) :D :D :D

Dat'z beekuz u wuuuuuuuv dat kitteh! :-*

Aww!

I'm proud to announce that Ember has successfully completed her Puppy I class.  Today was Graduation Day.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

My cat is missing!

 :'( :'( :'(

I know, you all didn't even know that I have a cat. Well, I didn't want to jinx it and kept my trap shut. Seems it didn't work :'(.Today we wanted to go to the vet and have him chipped (+ his shots).

3 1/2 weeks ago, a cat crawled under my yard gate when I was just sitting outside for a ciggie. Well, he came and he simply stayed. For four days, we didn't feed him and didn't let him into the house, so he would go home again. We didn't want to encourage him to stay and thus steal a beloved cat from their owner. He stayed anyway. Four full days he stayed hungry and lonely in my garden and barn. Then we fed him, let him in and took him to the vet to see whether he was chipped. He wasn't.
We kept him temporarily, and went looking for the owner. We hung flyers in the village, we asked around, we informed the local vet and they forwarded the info to an animal help organisation.

Last week, I said enough is enough and took down all flyers. I said he is ours now and we'll go to the vet after Easter (Monday is still an Easter holiday here).

Now he's gone :(.
He went for a stroll last night and hasn't come back yet. It's 10:30 am now. He's been away all night and all morning. He never is out for more than an hour a time. And he NEVER leaves out a meal. Never-ever. He's the most hoggish cat I've ever seen. But he didn't come for his morning meal today.

I am so worried. And I had to explain the situation to my kids. You can guess how the mood is now.
I could really, really use some encouragement and good thoughts from you.

 :'( :'( :'(

This is my Cäsar:

I'm sitting here, crying. Somehow I don't think we'll ever see him again. Oh shit.

Oh, Chrissi, I'm so sorry.  I can't even imagine how awful you and the rest of your family must feel.  Have you put up some new flyers?

Maybe Cäsar picked up the scent of some female cat and went off to do what he had to do, losing all track of time.  He sure is a beautiful cat, and he's obviously a resourceful one.  Hopefully, he'll come home soon.

Thank you Fran. Now it's almost 24 hours and he's still not back :(.
We've searched in the neighbourhood, calling his name. I keep calling him every time I'm outside.

Chrissi, it's too early to give up hope yet!

Our cat once went missing for three whole days, and we had almost given up on him.

Then, he suddenly returned, as if nothing had happened!

Chrissi, any news on your Happy Wanderer?

Maybe he's hiding because he found out you were taking him to the vet.   ;)
