As I was shoveling off the entryway yesterday I had a question. The snow, which had fallen light and fluffy last week, had turned to slush, and was heavy to clear off. But shouldn't it have weighed the same as it did when it was fresh fallen? How does snow get heavier when it turns to water?

Because the wetter it is, the denser it is and the more you get on the shovel each time.
When it's light and fluffy it's mixed in with more air.

Hiya BetterMost friends!!!!




I'm picking up my grocery order tonight instead of tomorrow.   I usually do grocery pick-ups on Friday, as that's the day I get paid.  However, the original weather forecast for tomorrow was snow, so I opted to get it a day earlier.

Now, snow isn't coming until "maybe" Monday.  We'll see.

Either way, the grocery shopping will be done, and I won't need to worry about it.


An email went around at work today that due to Covid numbers going up, we should only be going to the office when necessary, and while there, always wearing a mask.  So it looks like my schedule of going in twice a week is now done, and I'm working from home pretty much all the time, unless needed.

Coincidentally, it looks like I'm needed there tomorrow, so I'll start the day at home, leave to go to the office at 11 or so, and then go home when done with what I need to do, which shouldn't take too long.

This weekend I have no plans whatsoever.   ;D   Last weekend I had lunch with friends and then hanging out and catching up, and then on Sunday was a family gathering and lunch for my birthday, so I had plans each day.  Looking forward to nothing this weekend.

Hello everyone!    Where y'at?


This week has been very busy and crazy, work-wise!   It finally slowed down about 1:00 this afternoon, but every other day this week was none stop from sign on to sign off.

I am very thankful for tomorrow being Friday.


However, it was all made ok this afternoon, when I had my annual review.   It went really well, and I will be getting a $2.00 an hour raise, and I'm getting a very generous bonus!
