With Kirk Douglas, Lauren Bacall & Doris Day

Oh Gil, I'm sorry to read about your fracture.  Tell you what, it brought back my own broken arm of '85 to me.  Ugh.  I had a hard time sleeping for quite a while.  Let's hope your experience is very different.  I'm glad you're getting some good care.  Like Leslie said, I hope it means we'll get to see more of you here!
Thanks!  I have been around more but this decade is taking forever!

Another Special Round: Prizewinners!
« Reply #1732 on: November 23, 2007, 08:50:46 am »
Announcing Another Special Round: Prizewinners!

This is similar to "I Can't Believe We Didn't Play That Movie!" with a twist...every movie that gets played in this round must be a prizewinner. Any sort of prize will do, but it has to be something. When you play the movie, list the prize in a comment.

As always, unplayed movies only (anything from 1950 to the present). Please check the archive if you aren't sure if a movie has been played. It is up-to-date and I have added the movies from the special rounds to their respective years.

Wildcard X is still in effect for this round.

Have fun! PM me if you have questions.

I remember LOVING this movie when it came out!  It actually won the Best Director and Best Film César Awards in 1981.

PS:  I'm on a computer at the hospital  :(  It turns out I need surgery after all.  I asked the doc what type of fracture I had and she said that the technical term is a really bad smashed up fracture  :D
