It was a chilly morning here too Leslie.   I woke up to the sound of my furnace running.   I love that sound.   I hate being cold.

Today did warm up enough to wash the cars.   I even cut the lawn.    I love New England in the Fall.   The leaves are showing some colour already.    :)

36 degrees right now but a beautiful morning...clear blue sky, not a cloud in sight. This would be a good day to go leaf peeping if the state wasn't overrun with TOURISTS! LOL

Another lovely day...chilly right now at 36 degrees but they are predicting a high of 72! Convertible weather, perhaps?

Convertible weather indeed!    Too bad I sold mine in the Spring!   :-\

I am however going to look at a 1980 Chrysler Town & Country wagon forsale tonight!     It will look nice parked next to my 1980 Chrysler Sedan!   ;D

I'll sell my 1980 Dodge to make room for it.

Older Chryslers are like potatoe chips.  They are cheap. You can't have just one.   And you end up with greasy hands.

My parents had a Town & Country wagon, and 1980 is probably about the vintage. It had brown velvet seats (or velvet like material) and wood paneling on the side. I have always liked station wagons with that woody look.

Alas, this one doesn't have the fake wood panelling.   :(

It is real hard to find one with the wood that isn't all warped, pealing or rusted under it.    They made less non-wood ones actually.

The one I'm looking at is White (no wood) with a red interior.   I'll post a pic after I take some.

Here are some "File photos" of 1980 Town & Countrys with and without wood.   Again, neither are the one I'm looking at.

Another nice morning in Maine...44 degrees.

We are all feeling a little sad here this morning. Our good friend and faithful companion, Jessie, went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. Jessie was a retired racing greyhound and was 12 years old. Jessie (her racing name was How Kwik Jessie) raced for a year and came to live with us when was 3. She was on a "kill list," ie, we rescued her off the track. She was a wonderful pet and will be missed.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

Sorry for your loss Loss Leslie.      I have a friend in Florida who also rescued an ex-racing Greyhound.   What nice pets they make.

Now she can chase real rabbits with lots of energy!    RIP Jessie.
