I encountered something new last night. The security guard at the courthouse where I stopped made me raise my skirt and show my legs. Did he wonder whether I had a dagger concealed in my boots? Or did he just want to see my legs?? I was happy to oblige!!

OMG!!!     That is so wrong!    LOL.

He must have been flirting with you!  Was he cute?   

Even if they have a metal detector and it sounded when you went thru, they are still not supposed to ask that.    They are supposed to use a hand held metal detector to narrow down the point of the alarm.   Then they should allow for a private screening to resolve the alarm.  Then if a weapon was concealed on your leg they can arrest ya.

Of course, I have no idea what the Security is like at a non-Federal facility.

I'm guessing he was flirting with you!     Maybe we should call ya sexy legs from now on?

Yes, he was a cutie! And I didn't even make the machine beep when I walked through (I had already removed my belt, jewelry, watch, and flash drive). You'd have to ask him whether I deserve the Sexy Legs designation or not, but I'd be happy to try it on for size!!

HA HA HA!     I was reminded of a trip to New Yawk City where on every block they have a Pizza restaraunt with a variation of the same name.   On one of the places the sign read: "The original one and only"  He must have been upset that the competition all are capitalizing on his good name!     Ha ha ha!   Only in New York!

Yes, a new level introduced today on BetterMost... the six star 1000+ Posts Club.  It's astounding, but we actually have a half dozen users nearing that magic number is just three months here.  If we have more people on here, I'd consider a Mile High Club forum with free drinks for members. 

I want to join the special club 1000+ posts club though.  I just know it's going to have great comfy chairs, great lighting, excellent food, and great company.  I wonder if we'll have a secret password? 

Will will get to watch BBM on IMAX every night?  The anticipation is killing me (and now I've added one more post!).

Since we're all starting exclusive clubs, I'll have to start a Mile-High Club for all those joining me in Colorado on Memorial Day, 2007, although our meeting place is actually 4,000 ft ABOVE the mile marker!! I'll calculate the kms for you global citizens.
