Jess as always,  gets the golden keyboard award for passing the 13,000 mark!     LOL

I think we should give her a titanium keyboard instead...gold's too soft, it would be all worn down in a jiffy!

Congratulations, Jess on 13000! I think Lee is right: you should have a titanium keyboard .

Revealing the ice-cream puzzle: yup, Fabienne was right, this was Magnum-type ice cream (not actually the Magnum brand, but just as yummy).
We had a wonderful time yesterday. I told my cousin and her husband about my travel plans for Denver, about being a Brokie and about this forum. It's so good to have accepting people around you. They were open minded and interested. My cousin saw the movie, but her husband didn't (yet  ;D). But when he saw the Brokeback postcard at the kitchen wall, he found it beautiful and said he wants to see the movie  :). I showed him my office then, with the poster and the collage of the London gathering. He was totally into the picture of Ennis and Jack.  :)

salty snacks, yum!!

Lee: thanks; I was looking for the umbrella term, so salty snacks is the word I looked for

Oh, Chrissi, don't tempt me! It's only a three hour drive you know  ;)  :)

have a great time and say hi to Kerstin for me!  :)

Fabienne: Hi back atcha from Kerstin!
Tell ya what: I told Kerstin of your post yesterday and we both said how great it would have been if you really could have done it. It's actually a great idea.
Although I think it's more a four hours drive than three hours, it's not too far. There's always summer and there's always opportunity for another BBQ. I'll pm you.

Lee, you're about to hit 6,000!

Chrissi, I won't be at this BBQ with you, but maybe the next one!!  :)

Clarissa: Yup, definitely we'll be together for a BBQ  :D. I'm already all excited here.

Regards to Kerstin, too.  She probably doesn't know me, but I have enjoyed reading about the friendship you two have developed.  :)

Isn't that the best thing? We're both glad to have found a friend where none had been expected. It was supposed to be just an evening at the cinema, but it changed our lifes, like it did for so many others.

Lee and Leslie: Both short of 6000. You go girls  :)!

Nah, I had to get up anyways.    I promised a buddy I'd pick him up across town at 9am when he drops off his Mercedes CLK to get detailed.  Then we are going out for breakfast.

It is real cloudy and gloomy out.   Not the bright and sunny day the weatherman promised.     :P

A Mercedes? This buddy of yours got a single gay brother?
