As of today, I've been logged on 60 days!!  :D

But I think this is because I minimize Bettermost while I'm doing my CH Gallahue work from home. I'm loggded on, but I'm not actually logged on. Does that make sense? Then, when I see my little mailbox light up, I maximize Bettermost so I can see who responded to a message.  :D

Ta da!

I am already at 100 days, 5 minutes. I took a screen shot of when I was at 100 days exactly, but I don't know how to post it. Anyone help me?

L

Leslie, I upload my pictures to Photobucket. Some people here use Divshare. On Photobucket, I select the 4th option under the newly upload picture (the bottom one). It says "IMG CODE" next to it. I copy the link and then paste it into my Bettermost message, and it will normally appear without any problems!  :)

Oh, I know all about photobucket and uploading pictures. What I don't know how to do is post a screen shot that I captured with the PrtSc key.

Oh. I have NO idea how to do that. In fact, I've never heard about it before.

Sorry about that Leslie.

Here's a little technical tidbit for anyone who does PowerPoint presentations:

If you want to include a screen shot in your presentation, hit PrtSc to save the image. Then in PowerPoint, use Ctrl-V to paste (the paste command on the edit menu won't work). Voila!

I did PrtSc to commemorate 100 days, but I can't figure out how to save it as a picture file. I do have it pasted in PowerPoint though! LOL

How do you work the Prtscrn button? When I push it, nothing happens.  ???

My button says prtscrn at the top and sysrq at the  bottom. And I've tried pushing the shift button, the ctrl button and the alt button too when I push it.

This sounds like a really nice feature, but I can't seem to get mine do do anything.

Try this David.

1) Open Paint (if you have a Windows computer, you should have Paint as a built in program)

2) Here in Bettermost, look at a screen and press "PrtSc". On my laptop, I need to push it in connection with the Fn key (blue).

3) Go to Paint. Press Ctrl-V. That should paste the screen shot into the blank document.

4) Save as a .jpg file

5) Upload to Photobucket

6) Post.

7) Let me know if this works.

PrtSc doesn't seem like it does anything, until you paste the screen capture somewhere (Paint, Powerpoint, etc).
