Meanwhile, I was sleeping--SLEEPING AND DREAMING--and the damn dog starts barking and waking me up to go pee. And my husband is no where to be seen with the other dog. Grrrr..

Maine sleepily checking in....

well good morning everyone.  Er, it's afternoon in Saarland and promises thunderstorms, clouds and rain, so I guess I'm going to find a chunk of gouda cheese, some rice cakes, and get cracking on my next chapter of "E&E" for all those E&E crack addicts out there.  You know who you are.

And I really REALLY wasn't trying to break into the 1000 posts club.... I was just trying to salvage what I thought was the comic high point of my career from early in my BBM obsession.  But it put me over 1,000 posts anyway!

These days I am removing a kilo of fur per day from my husky/malamute. Dreamt about the Performance all nite...I hope to finish up my role as Alma today and hand over to the next Alma. Good Morning!

Connecticut checking in on this sunny Sunday!    A little brisk out there this morning.

I can just imagine Jack Twist stepping out from the tent into the morning sun. Jack pulling his coat closed a little tighter as he walked over to restart the fire so he can make Ennis some coffee.   As the coffee brews, Jack looks around at the beauty surrounding them.  Then he turns to the tent with a smile of contentment knowning his man was in there sleeping.

Sigh.....Paradise.

We have a little nip in the air here too this morning but beautiful clear blue sky. My husband is trying to persuade me to go convertible-ing today, enticing me with the promise of a lobster roll at some seafood shack downeast. Hmmm, we'll see....

Oh fine, Leslie. Make us all jealous with your easy accessibility to lobster rolls (not to mention the convertible)!

The convertible ride ended up at Ken's Seafood in Pine Point. I had fried clams and my husband had a crabmeat roll (which looked alot like lobster!). Then we drove through Old Orchard Beach and gawked at the tourists in their skimpy bathing suits, commenting on the nutritional value of a meal of pizza, french fries and fried dough (what they serve at Mario's Pizza, Bills's Pizza, and Lisa's Pizza!). After that, we stopped at the dairy barn for sundaes (I can't remember the last time I ate a sundae on Sunday) then came home and took a nap.

All in all a pleasant Sunday afternoon. Now it is Monday and back to work...
