Crockpot pasta carbonara. School has started back and already am barely keeping my head above water, so I foresee a lot of crockpot recipes in the near future.

Sweet!

Cook 1lb bacon (I do mine in the oven, so much easier!)
then

Throw all together in crockpot:
1/2-1lb noodles
1 can cream of mushroom soup
5oz mushrooms
cooked bacon
8oz frozen peas (or however much you like, omit if you don't like)
4 oz cream cheese
15oz can chicken broth
2T garlic powder or 2 minced garlic cloves

Stir just to distribute evenly. Cook in crockpot on high x 30min, then on low x 2-3 hours.
Terribly lazy cook here. :)

speaking of soup, I have yet to use my slow cooker, which I plan to make a nice batch of soup for a few day's meals.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

That recipe sounds really good!  :D

I understand that Campbell's cream of mushroom soup is used in so many casserole recipes that in the Midwest they call it "Lutheran binder."  ;D

Hahaha! My mother the quasi-Midwestern Lutheran minister will love that if she hasn't already heard it. :)

Does she make Jello molds in the liturgical color of the season? I hear that's another Lutheran trait. ;D

(FYI, I was raised Lutheran, so I can make these jokes.  ;D )

LOL, not that I'm aware of. She's not a big Jello eater....maybe it's because she's ELCA, not Missouri Synod.  :)

To be even more blasphemous, my stepfather (they're not married, but partnered for almost my whole life) is Episcopalian.

Lots of religion jokes fly when we go home.
