Leslie how many chapters are you planning on doing for TTVOT? The more the better obviously. Can never get tired of Jack and Ennis, just isnt possible. :) :)

I actually have no idea. I told someone the other day, the only real benchmark for me when I began writing this was the July 4th party. That's coming to a close, but I don't feel like the story is coming to a close. And KE has surprised me, becoming much more of a person than I expected. I think he has something up his sleeve, too. We'll see.

I left my comments for this one on FF.net--it was good, and I agree with you, I am feeling more in the story with KE, and there are a lot of directions that could go before it is done.  Very nice development of him in this story, I appreciate the emotional growth he is showing too, very well put together.

LOL! And we appreciate it!

Leslie, it's -21 degrees outside, but this chapter left me with such a feeling of warmth and hope!!  You've handled K.E.'s awakening so beautifully . . . how could anyone deny the truth of Jack and Ennis's love.

Thank you, Leslie - another amazing chapter.

Leslie,

I just love your guys so much. ~~~ sigh

The interaction between them is so beautiful and rings so realistic. I loved this part:

He turned to Ennis for a more enthusiastic hug, then said in a loud stage whisper, easily heard by most of the guests, “Told ya so.”

“You sure did, but ya won fair and square, with the people votin’, no one can accuse ya of bribin’ the judges.”

“Sleepin’ with, more like,” said Jack, this in a very soft whisper directly in Ennis’s year, who, as he heard the words, blushed bright red to the roots of his hair.

I swear I can see them on stage having that conversation. lol

And this one too:

“Now don’t go butterin’ me up with hugs and kisses,” he said, “because I ain’t dancin’ with ya when the band arrives…”

“Ah, En…” Jack sighed.

“I could tell that’s what you were doin’.”

“Just one lil dance?”

I can so see Jack's face...almost pouting...asking for just 'one lil dance...' :)

Your J & E keep me smiling for days. Thank you!

C*

I loved the "I told you so"  A little crowing on Jack's part is appropriate !  LOL
KE catching E & J in a sweet intimate moment.  This is love he sees here.
A love that has lasted 30 years.

Leslie, this story always puts a smile on my face, and warms my heart.

Love you,

Karen
