And here in Toronto, it'll be the start of a l-o-o-o-n-g weekend thanks to "Dollard des Ormeaux" and what he did way back in 1660, but of course, English Canada celebrates Victoria Day - some old queen that dominated the British Empire (includin the Dominion of Canada) a couple a centuries ago ...

Cold this mornin (5*C) but it's expected ta warm up for taday & for the weekend.

Cold or warm, yer Bar & Grill is OPEN fer business as usual ... a place fer ya ta get a cold one, a decent (virtual) meal, and the oportunity to shoot the proverbial cow pie.

they are having an assembly at school this afternoon. Announcing different awards and such. So Don and I will get all spiffed up for that; otherwise not much!

oh ever once in a while we clean off the dirt and scrape off the boots for a trip into the 'big city'

Pretty much same old, same old. It's a light day (except fer that dreaded lunchtime supervision!!!)

The really nice class (grade 6) who were just awful yesterday, are not allowed Gym taday. I prepared a health class fer em.

Otherwise, day should be OK.

If I don't get ta talk ta ya some more this mornin - Have yerself a wonderful memory making day.
