Yep.  She's still ignoring and giving me the silent treatment.  Even though it's her birthday this weekend.  OKayyyyy...

Not really a bitch, just a depressing observation.  Saw an old co-worker today, haven't seen him since before I left for college.  Last time he saw me, I was very fit, and about 30 lbs lighter. He looks exactly the same.  I gave him a hug and  -  I guess I asked for it, should have said something more neutral - said,

"It's good to see you, you haven't changed a bit."

He instantly fell over himself, trying to find something nice to say, "Oh, yeah, it's good to see you and well, thanks and - you - you look good too."

I know, jeez, lotsa people have broken homes, why bring race into it?  It was really appalling to read and that she sent it to me.  I'm hoping she just didn't read it carefully.  She is such a sweet girl and has such a lovely family - though I wasn't happy with her choice of husbands - I'd hate to think she's so surrounded by racist attitudes that she's picking them up unthinkingly.
