I just read that Jake is going to be one of the presenters at the Golden Globe Awards in January.

It would be neat if he got to present the category that Heath is nominated in. If that happens, I will cry like a baby for sure

Yikes!!  This Golden Globes scenario would be so heavy!  It would/will be hard enough for folks like us to watch... it's hard to imagine how Jake would get through something like that.  But, it would certainly be a sweet gesture.

Based on his total public non-acknowledgment of Heath's passing, I don't think he would do it.  Like you said, I think it would be too intense for him.

But it would be so great if someone else who was meaningful to Heath did it.

It won't ever happen, I'm very certain it won't. He's gone out of his way when in public (for whatever reason, I'm not going to speculate) to disassociate himself from any mentions of Heath (and thereby IMO, of BBM) and that surely isn't about to suddenly change at this late stage.
