I washed the dishes and prepared those hot beef sandwiches, and then I crashed!

I was a terrible host!

Bryan did pick the last of the apples off the tree and made a apple/pear cobbler for me - it was delicious!

Seeing as prices here are still on the average, about 30% more expensive than in the states (as well as our salaries) there must surely be bargains in the states these days for canadians!

Renewed my morgage on Friday. Still had 26 000$ left to pay, but with a 7 000$ additional payment, and a slight (200$) hike in my monthly payments, I could be mortgage free in one year!  (just 6 months after retirement!)
