Hiya BetterMost friends.

Sorry I've been away all day, it's been hectic on this end.

::)

I got a wake up call at 4:00, dad needed an ambulance to go to the hospital.  He woke up at that time to go to the bathroom, got dizzy, broke into a cold sweat, and managed to sit on the floor before he fell over.  Apparently, there was some blood involved as well.

Mom had made appointments with a cable guy, and the inspector was coming over for the final exam of their new bathroom, so I was the one who stayed at home to make sure all was taken care of.

Got word this afternoon that dad will be staying in the hospital until Wednesday or Thursday.  He had a bunch of tests today, and they want to give him a rest before doing more tomorrow.  They feel it's nothing serious, they think it was a blood vessel that burst overnight, which caused the loss of blood/dizziness.

They didn't give him a transfusion, and without new blood, his pressure returned to normal as did his body temp, which leads them to believe the bleeding has stopped.

They're keeping him for observation and further tests.

Oh Chuck, stay strong.  I'm glad you could be there to help your folks.  I'll say a prayer for your dad, and for you, the next days.
Dawn is coming,
Open your eyes...

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Hope that everyone is doing well!

I'm back at work, and have a bit of catching up to do, so I'm sure you won't see me around much today.

So far, dad is well, and I'll keep you all posted.

Today's Travel Destination:

The Cotswolds, Gloucestershire & Worcestershire, England.

Whether by car or on foot, to tour this area of countryside is to experience the quintessence of rural England.  Its villages prospered in the heyday of wool trade in the Middle Ages, and most have kept their stone buildings and preserved their character.

Oh dear Chucky, just read about your dad.....glad that it seems nothing too serious, and he is on the mend.

Hugs to you and your family. xxx
