I had some odd jobs aroun' the ranch where my brother lives, seein' ma folks was kilt and I had nowhere to go. So I kept horses, mended fences, what ever they gave me. Not much money to be made, thats fer sure.

((nodding to himself as Ennis looks bashful))

Well, basically last year the alotments were closer to the camps, so we could just pitch a tent where we needed to and the sheep wouldn' be that far off. You could get to 'em in two shakes of a lamb's tail, if somethin' were to happen. This year its harder I guess cause they moved the allotments around and the ranger service likes to get involved in ranching and herding businesses cause it ain't got nothin better to do.
