Yes, it was becoming a debate about religion, throwing Bible verses around, and name calling, etc. IMDb has deleted a bunch of posts. So, I know a bunch of us are coming here ... to this utopia! ::)

Much like the rest of y'all, I was on IMDB shortly after seeing the movie.   I enjoyed several good months there before the trolls took over and we moved from the BBM board to the secret "Pierre Tremblay" board.   Well, that board was infiltrated and thankgoodness that Celeste and Clarissa remembered that Phillip had posted about BetterMost a while back.   

That was March 30, 2006, 06:39:49 pm      My life has never been the same since!

Victoria took us under her wings and shielded us from the Trolls as we fled IMDB like refugees.     In the following months I've met several "Brokies" from near and far.    And here we are several months past the Hoopla of the Oscars and still going strong.

PS:   I just went back and read all of the posts on this thread from the beginning.   There are alot of User names of folks that have real low posting numbers.  I hope these are lurkers, not folks who fell out of touch.     I wonder if we lost any people to Dave Cullen or Yahoo?

Someone who use to post here told me to ignore the nasty comments on IMDB about Bettermost and to check this place out for myself that I would like it. So here I am and so far I like it just fine.

Hmmm.... I thought for sure I found this through a search on Google.  I was looking for BBM message boards.
I know for sure that I knew of this place before I started posting on IMDB... maybe it was via another link on a different site.
I know I was hanging out a the davecullen boards for a while... 

Hmmm....  now I don't remember exactly...

Just for kicks, I googled 'Brokeback Mountain forum' and Bettermost was displayed on page 2 of the query results.  So it's entirely possible you came here that way.
