But I haven't yet shown Yuki being a monster (it has nothing to do with his being gay, although he is Tezuka's one true monster protagonist, and also his one true gay protagonist.)

My favorite: Here he has seduced a girl, in order to find a patch of human skin into which he can inject a distillation of what is (hopefully) MW nerve gas--which poisoned his own mind, 15 years earlier. He is explaining this to the girl.

It worked. She looks just like the village full of people he and Garai saw lying dead, 15 years earler.
I won't give any more of the plot away; the graphic novel MW will be out in English in October; it is now available (from Abe books or Alibris, from time to time) in Japanese or French.

Bye!
(Here Yuki is explaining to father Garai that he needs A nun's habit, in order to escape the police, who are after him because of an--almost as unsavory--earlier episode

They're just as Brokeback related as LOTRs (if you ask ME), and just as related as my 10-12 capsule movie reviews, numerous pages back, the stills from "Forever Blue," and "Qas F," a photo of my father as a young man, and a baseball photo from 1882. Mickey Mouse (1940)?

Is there a new rule that photocaps can only come from Brokeback? If so, complain, and get them removed--I only worked about 3 hiours on them--the MW ones, that is.

I liked the Aguirre with his adding machine, BTW...

If I had a photo from The Well of Lonliness, 1910, I'd post THAT. get it?

My favorite Brokeback still...almost.:

Oh Susie, thank you for posting these. They are great!

And this one

had me from laughing to tears in a second.

 :'(

And then I read this one:

Quote
Ennis Del Mar: Long as you love me, Jack, as long as you love me.

and now I'm a total basket case again.

These are fantastic! Thanks for rescuing the old ones. I especially liked the "Congratulations, Mr. del Mar" one,  the two thumb positions (now who would have noticed THAT!) and the "touchin' your butt" one.

Jack thinking (very quickly!):Hope that little bit of truth didn't cost me my job. Y'know--it was worth it. What the hell does he mean, 'You want your son to grow up to be a man, don't you? Boys should watch football.. ' Since he's a boy, the chances are almost 100% he'll grow up io be a man, football or no football! I didn't have a TV to watch football on, and whaddaya know, I grew up to be a man!
