I was there a few weeks ago.. a very beautiful part of the country.

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Hope that everyone is doing well!

I'm back at work, and have a bit of catching up to do, so I'm sure you won't see me around much today.

So far, dad is well, and I'll keep you all posted.

Today's Travel Destination:

The Cotswolds, Gloucestershire & Worcestershire, England.

Whether by car or on foot, to tour this area of countryside is to experience the quintessence of rural England.  Its villages prospered in the heyday of wool trade in the Middle Ages, and most have kept their stone buildings and preserved their character.

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Hope that everyone is doing well!

Work is keeping me busy, but I feel like I'm accomplishing a lot, so I'm not feeling too overwhelmed.  However, by the time the weekends come, I'm tired and then I admit to feeling overwhelmed.

Happy Hump Day!

I'm going out tonight on a date, he seems like a nice guy.  ;D

Today's Travel Destination:

Bellingrath Gardens, Alabama USA

A lush floral oasis near Alabama's Gulf Coast, Bellingrath Gardens was created by Walter Bellingrath, a local businessman, from what had been a fishing camp on the Fowl River.  He opened the award-winning gardens to the public in 1932, and his lavish home on the grounds is now a museum.

Hiya!

Dad has been home for about 5 hours now.   He's in good spirits and his usual self.

Doctors reviewed the colonoscopy and said that everything is fine, and the bleeding should no longer be an issue.  They did find three polyps that they cut out as a precaution, and they're being biopsied.  However, the doctor told my dad and mom that polyps in the colon can be common, and that with his recent radiation treatments for his prostate, he should be fine.

Good to hear, Chucky..xx
Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect.

It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfection

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Holiday weekend is closing in!  ;D

I hope that everyone who celebrates has good plans for Easter.  Weather here is supposed to be majorly crappy, rain all day Saturday and Sunday.  ugh!

Had a date last night......and shall we say, the search continues!

LOL

I feel badly, as I think he liked me, he's already texted me this morning to say he had a good time last night.  Well, I'll call him either tonight or tomorrow, and let him know how I feel.  I won't give him that news via text.

Today's Travel Destination:

Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, USA.

Thomas Jefferson saw teh captivating shale bluffs and confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers at Harpers Ferry as "perhaps one of the most stupendous scenes in nature," but history remembers it best as the site of John Brown's ill-fated rebellion against slavery in 1859, a significant spark for the Civil War.
