I'm not sure how long this weather is supposed to last, but ooooh it is coming down!  I'm glad I didn't wash the car.  LOL

I went to bed last night on the early side, and slept right through to the alarm, and I'm feeling better.  The whole DST Monday phase has passed.

It was cloudy when I woke up, and as I left for the office the sun broke out, on the edge of the dark clouds that receded steadily all the way to work, it looked like I was driving into a far off apocalypse.

The rain has stopped (for now) and I think the sun is on its way out!  However, predictions of late day showers are in the news.

All the talk of the pope has reminded me of Judy Tenuta.  ;D



For those who don't know know her, Judy Tenuta was an off-the-wall commedienne who would dart from crazy subject to crazy subject in her routines.  One routine went like this:

Judy:  "Come closer to the goddess!  I have a secret to tell you.......*whispers*  I'm dating the Pope!  Oh, but I'm only using him to get to God!   The Pope called me one day, yes he called me, and said .....Juuuuuuudyyyyyyy....can I come over to your place, and touch your velvet painting of Elvis....that cries?   and I said to him,  SUFFER, Pope!"   

 :laugh:  :laugh:  :laugh:

My mom and I saw that bit on TV, and we were dying with laughter.  The thought of someone telling the Pope to "suffer" just killed us.

I hope you're all well!  I was exhausted yesterday, I even skipped a workout.   Went to bed early and slept through to the alarm today.

I did watch some show yesterday called "My Strange Addiction"......and it was about some guy who was in an intimate relationship....with his car.

He would hug and caress it, kiss it, and apparently somehow figured out a way to have sex with it.

No matter what happens in my life, I'm glad that it's not my issue.    :laugh:
