My goodness me.

Seems like everyone's bouncing off the walls at the moment!  :o

I hope that Dr Sampson can soothe Ennis's fears, but I still wouldn't want to be Wayne's shoes when he goes round for his 'chat'.

Will that be the next chapter (pretty please)?

How about getting it Scotch guarded?     ::)    ;D

*Scotch guard was a product sprayed onto fabric to prevent spills from staining.   Such as couches or car seats.

LOL!     I wasn't sure if everyone knew what that was.    I thought it might be an outdated expression by now!

True, with E&E, they need the sheets Scotch guarded!   LOL

hahahaha

it's a fluid environment.
“Mr. Coyote always gets me good, boy,”  Ellery said, winking.  “Almost forgot what life was like before I got me my own personal coyote.”

Sounds like the perfect wedding gift - maybe Edna will think of it! I seem to remember that Ellery did tell Ennis once that Edna was concerned about the condition of his sheets or something?

Ahh . . . okay, I found it - from Chapter 22 of "A Long Way Home" -

“........ An you got about a thousand sheets in that closet so why not keep the bed fresh made? I never had more’n two sheets ta put on a bed at the same time, an you got real nice stuff.”

Ellery looked at Ennis with surprise. “Ya know, Edna went through my cabinets an closets one time an told me I lived like a miser with ten year old everythin an I should get everythin new. That’s perspective for ya.”

That's Edna for you!

Fortunately, Ennis is a good sport about doing the laundry, and luckily, he doesn't have to do it like this!
