Lots of good R choices including Rodan, Rock Around the Clock and The Rainmaker, but I went with this wonderful film, which I remember seeing in French class, way back when....

Just got my Criterion Newsletter and The Red Balloon has been restored and is being re-released. I'm sure a DVD will follow!
