I figured out the purple before clicking it but, sadly, only after I'd picked blue.

There are three kinds of purples: the ones you get fairly quickly, the ones you get once you see the only remaining words and the ones you don't get even then.

CRANE was pretty lucky today.  I figured it left only three possible solutions:  brace, grace or trace.  The bot guessed each one, wrong order.  I chose "BIGOT" because it included the B, G and T, so I was guaranteed to win it in three.
