Yeah, I was facing the same situation as you, Chuck. I tried Paul's strategy of guessing a word containing letters that might occur in the answer. But there were too many to fit into one word, I didn't pick a very good word, and it left several possibilities open.

Today, I used the Paul strategy more sucessfully -- I thought of words that could fit and got STORM, STORK, STORY. Then Wordle graciously let me enter MOCKY as a word. If it is a word, I have no idea what it means, but it did the trick.
