Grimace is one of the characters that was used to promote McDonald's stuff. 






From left - Birdie the Early Bird (promoted breakfast foods), The Professor ("inventor" of the McNuggets),  The McNuggets Buddies (being held by The Professor), Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Hamburgler (steals the hamburgers), Captain Crook the pirate (steals the Filet O Fish sandwiches), the little hairy blobs with eyes are The Fry Kids, who loved McDonald's french fries.  Lastly, there are the burgers.

That's quite the MacUniverse they have created.

I'm not sure we have those here, but who am I to know. I haven't set foot in MacDonalds for at least 30 years!
