Yes I started feeling like I was on vacation (finally) on Thursday ... a full week after it had actually started!

Getting things done in the garden, yes - not as fast as Bryan would like, but then, it's been Texas hot in these here parts lately - reached 34C (93F) here today!

Flowers are slowing down - getting fewer things to show off now - even the bulk of the lilies are fading. Garden's gonna be easing into a lazy 'sunflower' period now!

What did you mean by '"The Bermuda went crazy"?

Sorry about the weeds - but I guess it'll keep you busy - and busy's good!  ;)

Good Mornin BetterMostians

Looks like another scorcher taday. Muggy, 30C (86F) & a chance a rain later today - like I'm gonna wait for that! - already been outside ta water the flowers. the 21C outside is still cooler than indoors so all my windows & doors and fans are trying to suck out the heat from the house.

Each day should be a little cooler than the previous one, so they say ... so one manages.

Was nice ta have a couple a people visit the Bar last night (fer a second nights in a row, I think).

Anyways, I'm sure Andy enjoying his vacation down in P.E.I. - I'm hoping ta get a postcard from him soon.
