I'm not sure if this is already posted somewhere. If so, please feel free to delete. I think the video is old and the story was on the news a while ago. Anyway, it is so beautiful. It had me crying. This is the story behind it. A woman allegedly found a lion in a forest badly injured. She took it home and took care of it until the lion healed completely. Then sent it to a zoo. The video shows the first visit she made the lion a while after he was sent to the zoo. I'm not sure if this is a true story, but the video is worth seeing. The lion's reaction is unbelievable.

Here are a couple of pictures of my dog Jake. The first one taken at 8weeks old, the second one taken at 6 months old (with my grandson)  He is a Marema, originally bred to guard flocks of sheep or  goats. They bond with their charges and live with them and protect them. Very faithful and good natured dogs.

The green bird there with Jake is Charlie. He is an alexandrine. He was hand reared, and we have had him since he was a baby. He talks constantly and has a wide vocabulary. He lives in a cage, but we let him out every day to walk around or sit on our shoulder.

Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect.

It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfection

Your dog is beautiful. That is nice to get dogs from a shelter. Some of mine are rescues too.

The rabbits and hamster are very cute!

Where do you keep the leaf -- does it have a name? In an aquarium?

Thanks for sharing the pictures!
