Hiya BetterMost friends.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!  It's Friday!

;D

So, who's got good plans for the weekend?  Anyone?

Today's travel destination:

Bodrum & the Lycian Coast, Turkey

Most cruises on the traditinal wooden boats called gulets are booked by the week, but it's worth taking even a day trip south from the ancient port city of Bodrum, itself a charming seaside port.  You can cruise to the gorgeous mountain-rimmed Cokova Gulf and have a simple lunch caught and prepared by your crew, in a secluded cove.

'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Hi, Chuck!

This is a weekend of rest for me, in between Boston last weekend and the NYC dinner next Saturday.

It's cooler here than yesterday, by about 10 degrees, although still in the 80's, so I'll be out this afternoon.
Jack's from Texas.

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Had a productive weekend, and am just starting to get work done here on the job.  I got here almost an hour an half ago, and started setting up a "Thank You" breakfast for all my coworkers who donated to the AIDS Walk.

They get to nosh on bagels with assorted spreads, muffins, fresh fruit and berries served with whipped cream and Nutella, and hot coffee.

Today's travel destination:

Warwick Castle, Warwick, Warwickshire, England.

At the heart of Bristish history for nine centuries, the magnificent feudal fortress of Warwick is the country's finest medieval castle.  Originally built to keep visitors out, it now welcomes so many that guards keep lines moving with its monumental Norman walls.

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Hope that everyone is doing well!

I've been at work for about 2 hours already, and I've managed to get much done!  I'm happy about that!  ;D

Today's travel destination:

Peggy's Cove, Nova Soctia, Canada.

Peggy's Cove is a small seaside town located about 1 hour drive southwest of Halifax at the maritime province of Nova Scotia, Canada. Besides the really beautiful and idyllic setting of the fishing village, Peggy's Cove is famous for it's lighthouse, which is the most famous lighthouse in Canada.  Despite the village's only 40 inhabitants, several hundreds or thousands of tourists visit it daily just to take a picture of the oh-so-famous lighthouse. Peggy's Cove's charm will captured you immediately.

Happy Hump Day!

;D

Busy morning so far, and it's just turned 8:30!  :o  I hope it slows down as the day progresses.

Today's travel destination:

Eureka Springs, Arkansas, USA.

It's easy to fall in love with Eureka Springs, a charming collection of Victorian architecture and higgledy-piggledy streets snaking past cliff-hanging homes.  The entire downtown area is on the National Register of Historic Places.

I was about ten feet into Arkansas as a kid (on purpose, with my uncle and grandmother, who wanted me to get into the state to "count" it) but would like to go back sometime.

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Friday is closing in!

;D

*Waves to BBT, Debs and Mandy*

Very cool to see you all here!  I was beginning to think I was talking to myself here!   I'm glad the pic of Arkansas spurred some memories.  I enjoy hearing how people have been to the places I post.  I hope that happens more as the year goes on.

I have to get over to Matthew's blog, it's his birthday today.  ;D

Today's Travel Destination:

Wachau, Austria

abbeys and castles crown the rolling hills of Wachau, a Danube River valley where sunny skies smile down on vineyards producing a significant share of Austria's wine.

*waves back to Truman, Mandy and Chuck*

When we went to Arkansas, we were mostly in Missouri.  Near Joplin, which isn't what it used to be any longer.   :'(
