I didn't test those. I know with GLAMB you could take off a letter from either side and have a totally legit word.

BEDLAM would be a perfect test if it were one letter shorter.

GLADE would either show the right letter or indicate it's M.

I used a little bit of strategy. Thinking that the third guess could include STAIN, STEIN or STAID, i was about to do STAID but realized that if I did STAIN or STEIN I'd know the last letter right away and could pivot back to STAID if necessary, but if I did STAID I'd still have (at least) two possibilities.

I've decided what I find frustrating about Flashback. I usually don't get more than 1-2 wrong, but those wrong answers are emblazoned on the results like a bloodstain or a red A on a shirt. With Wordle or Connections, you can make mistakes along the way, and they do show, but if you ultimately solve the puzzle, it counts as a win. Whereas Flashback grades on a curve.
