The lovely Paul Walker played Skip Martin.  As a plus, Jason Behr also starred as Lackey #2.

Plot:  Two 1990's teenagers find themselves in a 1950's sitcom where their influence begins to profoundly change that complacent world.

Paul Mercurio plays Troy, RuPaul plays Duke and Paul Bartel plays Fred the Pharmacist in this movie.

  RuPaul

From IMDb: I saw this while I was channel surfing past HBO and came upon this film staring the dude from Strictly Ballroom and everyone's fave rave drag queen, RuPaul. It's an interesting independent film about guys who plot a scheme to help sick folks get free AZT. It's surprising what a light hearted fluffy comedy they make out of such a potentially dark subject but it works. It ain't a masterpiece but it's light breezy fun. The sort of movie that goes straight to video but is surprisingly fun.

Paul = Paul Muni

From IMDb: This is an effective performance of a famous one-act play about a man condemned to execution who may or may not be the son and brother who ran away years ago. In long confrontation scenes with possible sister and mom, Muni as the hero convinces them that he is not their brother/son and gives each new hope to go on with their lives. The surprise ending I will not reveal. Worth seeking out- available on 16 mm in private collections and in archive screenings. Muni is wonderfully sensitive and deserving of his Oscar nom.

Muni at his home in the Hollywood hills,  circa 1929.

Good title for a birthday round!

Paul Lynde played Uncle Sid.

Plot:  Surfing college students hang out at a club watching comedian Woody Woodbury and drinking Pepsis. Rich playboy "Ding" Pruitt (James Darren) falls for Sandy Palmer (Pamela Tiffin). His grandfather tries to have the club closed but is exposed as an ex-bootlegger. Bob Denver plays Kelp and is hooked up with Nancy Sinatra. They are joined by Tina Louise (both she and Denver got lost on "Gilligan's Island" later that year) and Paul Lynde. Film debut of Ellen Burstyn (as Ellen McRae).

"Y" is Young Eagles (1930)
« Reply #4919 on: September 03, 2008, 04:42:27 pm »
Paul Lukas played Von Baden in this film.

From filmsandtv.com:

A World War I pilot, Lieutenant Gene Banks ("Buddy" Rogers), experiences adventures in the air as a fighter as well as on the ground as a lover.

From Time.com:

Whatever merit there is in this picture is due to the nerve and Smartness of a man whose name is not mentioned in the cast — Dick Grace, who doubles for Charles ("Buddy") Rogers in the air scenes. Grace, who has doubled for stars in dangerous moments of many cinemas, who has broken 69 bones including neck and back, is an aviator so expert that he contracts to smash up planes at specified distances, usually only a few yards, from the grinding cameras.

"Young Eagles" may be Grace's last doubling job. His contract called for several smashups and some difficult stunting in an air-battle. Most doubles die on the lot, and Grace, feeling that he has tested his luck pretty thoroughly, has told friends he will probably quit now. It is a trivial picture, a standard program air-feature about the chivalrous rivalry of a German and an Allied aviator. Rogers manipulates his long eyelashes successfully and the cameraman and doubles who risked their lives in the later sequences were not seriously hurt. Typical shot: international spies stealing Rogers' clothes after he has been drugged at a party in Paris.
