Oh, I remember that very well.  Paula really stepped in it that time!  But I liked that Wes commented on Ellery's "nice gold ring."

This was interesting:

“Considerin what he’s been up to this week since... no.”

Wes turned red suddenly. “Oh.”

“He was coverin. But that ain’t my concern. My concern is how she is gonna act around em when we get into it heavy with the trial.”

I always wondered if Ellery and Wes had any conversations about Paula/Dupree.  And Jeremy's so adorable, blushing and getting flustered talking to Nick on the phone (and we know from "Chesterfield" that he'll still be doing that in January!)

I love Columbo, too!
