Sonja, I'm not sure if you have those in your area, but if you don't, not only do they look like helicopter blades, but if they catch the wind right, they spin when they fall.

What a lovely, peaceful video!

Yes, we also have them here.

I remember when I was little, we used to break them over in the middle, then split the thick end where the seed is hidden. The sides surrounding the seed are sticky, and we put them on our nose. Great fun!

Like this. Apparently not only kids do it!

When I was a kid, we used to use them to make funny fake noses, except I could never get it to work right.  :(

Seems kids everywhere do it!  :)

Hiya BetterMost friends!!!!

TGIF everyone.

Today means the weekend is here.  Unfortunately for me, it also means that "Stay-cation" is over and I go back to work on Monday.

From what I can see in my emails, it will be busy next week.  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yes, I check my emails when I'm on "stay-cation".   This week, I got between 250 - 300 emails, so trying to deal with all those emails on Monday would take all day, and I'd lose a day of work when it could be a very busy week.  So each night, I signed on after hours, when I wouldn't be bothered, and I went through my emails, deleted what I could, saved what I needed, and ones that I could deal with quickly, I dealt with, so that will make Monday an easier day, at least a little.

I did manage to get some stuff done.  The car is clean, the bathroom is clean, and new clothes have been purchased.  I also saw my friend for lunch yesterday, and we had a nice time.  I was at her place for about 5 hours, catching up and laughing.  It was a good day over all.

How is everyone doing?

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

The May 17 issue of The New Yorker magazine has an article about the Disgusting Food Museum. The museum is located in ... (wait for it) ... Sweden.  ;D

When I woke up this morning, our Eighties radio station was playing some goofy song about some red balloons.  ;D

Hiya BetterMost friends!!!!

Mondays suck!

It was a busy day back to work, I had a bunch of stuff to catch up on, and I had my monthly monster report to start, so I ended up working 4 hours overtime.

I wasn't happy with it now, but when the paycheck comes, I'll be happy.  ;D

The weekend was a pretty quiet one.   Saturday I didn't do anything major, and Sunday was the usual laundry day and visit with the family.  Mom wasn't in the mood to cook, so they ordered an assortment of appetizers (like we did on Mother's Day) and that was lunch.

This coming weekend is Memorial Day, and I've been invited to a BBQ on Monday.  I decided to make an antipasto salad to bring.
