Thanks Guys.
It's been a mostly uneventful 60th birthday - if you don't count the Grey Cup victory of a Toronto Argonauts the night before for this win-starved city ... and (on the 26th) the ouster of a tea-party like mayor from our fair city by a judge for conflict of interest and 'wilful blindness to the law.'
THAT was quite a birthday gift.
But, as with any judgement in law, (even though the judge gave the city 14 days to get their act together), with the possibility of appeal and of staying of the ruling while the appeal is pending, we may yet have to wait to say farewell to 'mayot Ford'. In the meantime, the part time mayor is coaching his high school team (his other job) to what is the equivalent of the Grey Cup (Americans can read Super Bowl) of high school football.
This guy's been high entertainment for the past two years.
Oh, and by the way, I've been on a 6 week winning streak at pool (billiards). Last night's win wasn't pretty but it still counted as a win.
