it is so wonderful to see you posting again ranchgal!!! welcome back and I hope you enjoy "Chesterfield Fortune" as much as the rest of the readers seem to.  Except for "The Red Stallion" and the two Dupree stories this one is a real hit!  (I find that somehow baffling but maybe I shouldnt.)  I thought a story with Jeeves as the hero wouldn't go over as well but boy was I wrong!

Wow, Louise - California?  That's not exactly around the corner!  Best wishes for a safe and productive trip.

Toys?  Did I hear toys?   ;D  You are such a tease......

Thanks,
Marie

11 hour flight to L.A. then a 2 hour wait then a one hour flight to San Francisco.
Plus an 8 hour time change.  Funnn... Fortunately I will have absolutely nothing to do Saturday on the plane ride, except write Chesterfield, and nothing to do Sunday except eat gluten free toast (whcih I am bringing with me)... and write Chesterfield.

So there might...! (I said might!) be a conclusion.

I hope you get some sleep in there, too!

Conclusion?  Gasp...  but, but .... I don't think I'm ready to let go! LOL!  Of course, now you've got me wondering about the next tale .....  ;D

hahaha surprise!

chapter 56

http://louisev.livejournal.com/232441.html

That sure was!  A wonderful Friday afternoon surprise - thanks!

SPOILERS

So Keynes is pleading.  That's probably the best thing - nothing good could come of the publicity that a trial would bring and the unfavorable spotlight it would undoubtedly and unfairly shine on the Red Stallion, et al.

Couldn't have loved that Wes-Jeremy conversation more.  Warmed my heart that Jeremy was so open with Wes about his feelings for Nick - that speaks volumes not only about his relationship with Nick, but about his comfort level with Wes.  A very good thing. And yay! Jeremy and Ellery will still be side-by-side.  And how funny that Jeremy was "half-jogging" to get to his car.  Oh, Nicky........

So now I'm worried about Colson, too.  Another stage of his life, another set of adjustments....sigh  But I guess that's what life is, a series of changes.   And Mel is on his way to fetch Paula, huh? Haven't forgotten Paula's conversation with Mary....

Terrific, chapter, Louise. Thanks,
Marie

it is always wonderful to see your comments, Marie.  And all of those lurker readers (and I know how many there are!) have you to thank because whenever I log in and see one of these comment messages it really cheers my day and gives me an added incentive to keep on writing.  It's great.

Yeah Jeremy almost said the "L" word after court with Wes didn't he?

I'll make this a bit quick because I am at Heathrow Airport waiting for my gate to be announced, and it's either a 10 minute walk or a 20 minute walk and I am really REALLY hoping it's the 10 minute walk, because that'll take me 20 minutes!

But good news for all you readers out there, I got rebooked onto the nonstop flight to San Francisco which means the outlook for a new chapter tonight is excellent.

Thanks for reading!
