Today I was at the theater with my younger children. Kerstin and her kids were with us. Traditionally, in December and January, there are many theater shows specifically for children and we go to one of them every year.
This year we saw "Snow White and the seven dwarfs" in the festival hall of the next town. The hall was built in Art Nouveau and is very festive, so this alone made a big impression on the kids
.
Some impressions from the theater company's homepage:
Two of the dwarfs we played by members of the ensemble, the other by children from the audience (they didn't have to speak, they just had to follow the big dwarfs)
The evil stepmother:
It was a music-theater show. But the music was not children's music or some simple musical-like melodies, it was pretty much opera-like, with arias 'n all. I liked this.
I love pre-Christmas season
