Measure Up by Littlewing1957

.....He placed his cock against that of Ennis’ and wound the two sexes together with the yellow tape.  Jack bent down to lick first his own cock, and then Ennis'!  The sensation almost drove them both over the edge![/i]

Your ideas for stories are truly original! This line almost drove me over the edge! Marie, you are one sexy woman.

The fucking scary thing is, I came up with it at work today and emailed it to myself at home (then deleted the outgoing message & emptied the 'deleted' folder). Or at least thought I sent it to myself — I keyed in "La" and it filled in the rest of what should have been my address.  So hopefully there's just a server delay on that end... otherwise, God knows who I sent my sexy story to!!!   :o

This person very likely feels as if it was Chrismas!

Too bad, really, that I have no idea of how long that is in cm! But I can imagine it´s not too short, huh?

Wow Littlewing - (gets out Lureen's addin' machine) - that's 15 1/2 inches of pure, hot, cowboy love!  ;D And, to think their love kept growing for one another...

Hello, BBM-Cat!  I don't know why you were thinking of posting and running away.  Your story is fantastic, almost poetic.  Beautifully written.  I hope you'll think about writing some more.  You're very talented!

Hi Spiceylife, thank you for your compliments. Run away? well, you know, first-story-post jitters.  :D
BTW, I enjoyed 'Dead Heat' - it felt like a candid snapshot of one of Jack and Ennis' fun and rare moments together!

:'( :'( :'(  Toycoon, that was not fair, really. I'm sobbing like a baby.
Thank you anyway. Sometimes I need that, too.

Awww! Thank you, everyone. Sometimes we all need a sad story if only to maintain the pathos of the original story.
I read someone's essay over on IMDb and it set me thinking about how simple Jack's dream really was. Honestly, when people say, "Why didn't they just move to a bigger city where they could be gay in peace?" I have to say they missed the essence of the story. Neither Jack nor Ennis can escape their inner demons, the voices in their heads that tell them they're not good enough to achieve the American dream. To me, that is why so many people can relate to the story on different levels. On the obvious level, it's a 'love story' about lovers who can't be together but I really think it's about failure to find one's Golden path in life. None of the characters get to have what they wanted.

Okay, I've never seen a gay porno movie! I'm guessing they're not on the shelf of the local Video Ezy store, so where do you find them?  Are they only to be found at those 'special' stores with XXX flashing in the window?  I feel as though I've led a sheltered life here... so sad.
Certainly, adult bookstores will sell/rent gay videos (at least those found in the larger cities), as will many magazine/entertainment outlets that also sell adult materials (not adult bookstores per se, but stores with adult sections). Many gay and lesbian bookstores will sell/rent gay porn (again, these would not be adult bookstores per se, but bookstores catering to gay and lesbian interests that have adult sections on the side). And while it's true you're not going to find anything like gay porn in your neighborhood Blockbuster, really good video outlets with a broad, eclectic selection will sometimes have an adult section (which sometimes includes gay product).

In addition to all this, the Internet has loads of pornography on it, with a fair share of it being gay in nature. Exercise caution if surfing the Net for adult material--many of the prompts and pop-ups are manipulative, and it's all too easy to click on something that you might find distasteful.

But the colorful world of gay porn awaits anyone out there who really wishes to experience it.

The shots of Tintagel are particularly stunning, Susie.

Isn't Newlyn in Cornwall? I believe there was an artist's colony in Newlyn at the turn of the century; I wonder if the locals remember and honor that part of their history. And sculptress Barbara Hepworth died in Saint Ives, where there is a museum dedicated to her. And anyone who's a Gilbert and Sullivan fan would want to go to Penzance, just to say they've been to the pirates' haunt (much as we Brokies make pilgrimages to Wyoming and Alberta to commune with ghosts of people who never even existed).

I actually met a man from Penzance...very nice and articulate person. He seemed slightly (but pleasantly) surprised when I said I had actually heard of the place.

At any rate, thank you, Susie, for sharing these lovely pictures. They are indeed enjoyable to peruse.

Susie, thank you for sharing these wonderful pics with us! That must have been a lot of work!

Your children are so beautiful, no wonder, since they take so much after their parents  :D!

I do understand why you love Cornwall! I have to go there some day.
