Another beautiful day today, 55 degrees, high of 72 predicted. Lovely!

One year ago today I was baking a cherry cake and getting ready to head to Boston for the Boston Brokie Gathering. Yee-haw! One year...how time flies!

Trembling on the verge of rain here in southwest Britain, and looking forward to a little reimmersion into summer on Monday as I head off to sunny Athens.  And it's a beach hotel! whoo wee!

Correct; sun and 77°. And the forecast says the same for tomorrow  .
Kerstin and I worked at the kindergarten today. Together with some other parents, we put glaze (scumble?) on the junglegym, the swing and other devices in the garden.

Tomorrow we'll go to the Luisenpark together. It's a big and beautiful parc, with lots of things to do: there are farm animals, a tropical greenhouse with tropic plants and birds and butterflies, a Chinese teahouse, and there are the best playgrounds far and wide. I'm looking forward to it.
