Ellery has been preemptively moved back into the world of fiction but I sustained a few of his patented tirades before managing to call Wes up to get him to return to the office.

Now, where did I misplace Ennis...
“Mr. Coyote always gets me good, boy,”  Ellery said, winking.  “Almost forgot what life was like before I got me my own personal coyote.”

Seen in Amersfoort, Holland, on March 17th, prior to going to the Dutch play of BBM. All I could think of were Ennis and Ellery....LOL

As promised,

The dreaded epilogue:  Ellery's Essay, the first draft, not as yet corrected and returned for rework by his Fearless Leader.

http://louisev.livejournal.com/214833.html  "What I Did On My Winter Vacation."  scroll down to "Epilogue."

SPOILER

"I contemplated the remote possibility of purchasing a film of the Broadway production of “Oklahoma!” so that I could fulfill the stereotype of the queer homosexual male, but I can`t  stand the saccharine-sweet voice and scrubbed smile of Shirley Jones.  So much for stereotypes."

I am picturing Fearless Leader's face when he reads the "first draft"!

You sure are a caution, Ellery.

Thanks, Louise

Oh the red pen will be out soon, believe me!

Old Ellery learned how to be a caution from the grandfather of all cautions!  Which makes me think of a prequel.

A slight anachronism, Louise....Ellery would have a hard time renting the entire stock of Alfred Hitchcock videotapes in 1969, since VHS wasn't invented until 1976.

And isn't his address 92 Tourmaline Road (this is minutiae woman speaking...)

yes Natali caught that gaffe before, and I updated the file. At least it would have propagated by now.

Not only that, but early VHS technology was really just for recording shows onto blank tapes.    There were no BlockBuster Video rental stores around yet.     Some of the early movies available were on these huge vinyl movie discs.  They were the size of LPs but thicker.
