okay, plot reintegration and orientation done.  As you can see from the present chapter, considerable review was necessary before getting to Wednesday proper.

SPOILERS

Geez, Louise.  Can't blame everyone for being on edge - they are bursting at the seams.  Too bad Esteban couldn't ease back into the job instead of being thrown back in headfirst - he's going to really need that noon meeting.  I know Wes can handle that smarmy Isling, but it's a shame they have to put up with him. Yay for Reynolds - on a day like today, these guys will be too thankful for his organizational skills to be making fun of him.

And don't feel too bad, Esteban.  With the condition Ellery's in, I imagine only the Fearless Leader himself can make it through the barrier of Ellery's over-protective husband.

Great stuff, as always.  Thanks.
Marie

yes that would be true - Ellery has what he always needed - someone to watch over him, and this time - work does NOT come first!

Yes I know it is after 1 a.m. but nonetheless I am writing the next chapter.  I forgot to take my medicine and so I am up for the duration while things settle down in the Spur Department.

SPOILERS

Phew!  What a relief.  OMG, poor Lance - bad enough he was drugged, but a cattle prod?!?  Jesus.  Hurray for Jeeves - his persistence paid off.  It's a good thing Ellery sent Jimmy and Willy there right away, I wouldn't have wanted Jeeves to have to handle both despicable Ray and disgusting Drew by himself.  Which reminds me...is Sergio on his way to Ellery's?

Get ready, Fearless Leader, your station is about to get even busier.

Thanks, Louise.  Sleep well.   :)
