SPOILER

Right, that's it! I'm applying for a job at the Tourmaline sheriff's office!  :)

Jeremy is one lucky guy. Thanks Louise.

SPOILER

  Fabienne, we are always on the same wavelength - I'll meet you there!   A few chapters ago I told Louise that I wanted to run away to Arizona and work with these guys - I'm being purely unselfish, of course -  I think Paula needs my help!   ;D

And, yes, Nicky is so effin' adorable in this chapter I can hardly stand it.

Spoiler

“Hey don’t mind me, ya wanna kiss or somethin, I got typin ta do,” Murdoch said, pushing his glasses up and turning back to his typewriter.

LOL!

LOL is right - I know I should have been feeling sorry for Jeremy, but that was just too funny!

Mystery paycheck!  The lumberyard???  The plot thickens . . .

Congrats on the job, Louise!  I'll pop upstairs to get the details!

Thanks,
Marie

.... and another update, sorry these have been slow.  All of this getting ready for my next leg of my tour has me slowed down:

Hey, Louise - don't apologize for God's sake - I can imagine how busy you must be.

SPOILERS

So many great lines in this chapter -

Esteban picked up a slice of now-cool pepperoni pizza, eyeing it as if it might talk to him if he pled enough.

“She had important dinner with District Attorney and his lovely bunny wife,” Esteban said.  LOL! Now I'm picturing Bunny twitching her pink nose and shakin' her cottontail!

“Is there any more a that pepperoni pizza I ain’t eatin?”

Where the hell is Ellery when I need em? I am totally incompetent when it comes to kickin asses an inspirin fear an action,”

“We’re supposed to be the police.”

But Sanchez gets the prize -

“Dupree’s wife cooks just as good as Ellery’s does.”  And the funniest part about that is, from the looks of Jeremy's dinner, that's absolutely true!

And, yay, we're preparing warrants and getting down to some nitty gritty, but how will this blackout affect things . . . and should I remember the name Aaron Fennelly?

Terrific, Louise - thanks!

whew! and here I thought I was out of practice!

Fennelly has not appeared in the series as yet - he is completely new.

Anyone feel like casting our nondescript 40-something machinist and stalker of young college nursing students?

SPOILERS

Holy crap, Louise - Wayne and Jerry?  I did not see that coming.  Although, I have to say:

“Get em yourself, I am in search a cock here, don’t get in my way Lauren,” Wayne said,  . . .

it's nice to see that some things never change!     Jerry is a first-class jerk, but it looks like Wayne is well aware of that!

Does Nick still work at the bar?  And where is Jeeves right about now?

More great stuff, Louise - thanks!

it is after Christmas, and when Nick works at the bar it is when he isn't studying in school or fixing dinner for his Sweet thing and carting it across town.  Tonight Sally is working, however, and Ellery HAd been putting in some time at the bar to help out for post legbone Colson who cant do bouncer duty anymore.
