It was a dreary rainy day today.   And my day off.     What to do?     I had a nice fire going in the fireplace and surfed the internet.     

I did buy a neat old TWA pin on Ebay that I'll use as a tie clip at work.



Also,  I came across some cool vintage travel posters.   The Las Vegas one is from the 1960s.    I'm not sure the era of the San Fran one.    The NYC one is kinda erie.

Oh yeah,  I found this pic on the web of Bradley Airport.   I work with these guys.  The dogs name is "Blue".

That dog is so cute! Is he one of the bomb dogs or drug dogs? I love him! He's gorgeous! 

Both I think.   We have several of these yellow labs at Bradley.   They are very friendly.  When not "working" they are curled up next to their Trooper.  The passengers love them and many come over and ask if they can pet them. 

The dogs are especially frisky at 4:00 AM.   Sometimes the Troopers will toss a ball or empty plastic water bottle across the near empty concourse and the dog will go running full speed down the granite floor  and skid and slide 20 feet trying to stop.  Then they'll spot us TSOs and run over jumping on us and licking us.   The dogs, not the Troopers.  He he he!

7:33 am here and 31*F.     The sun is rising and no more rain!  YAA!

Todays errand?   A trip to the DMV.    I sold one of my old cars and want to transfer the vanity license plate to another one of my old cars.   Lets see how many people at the DMV it will take to get that done before I lose my patience and give up!    LOL

He he he!    Well, there aren't any hot troopers at my Airport.    To be stationed at the Airport is kind of a end of career perk I think.   These guys have put in their time already and now enjoy the slow pace of being transferred to the Airport.    I don't see any of the hot young rookies in here at all!   

Which is probably good.  If this guy (below) came to work, I don't think I'd be able to concentrate!    Ha ha ha!
